WE MAKESTORIES.SOME SELL.SOME STAY.

Films, branded entertainment and ideas that give people a reason to stop scrolling.

We like a good story. We also like knowing what it's supposed to do. Turns out, those two things can get along.

The origin story
01

TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS. ONE COMMON FRAME.

One grew up thinking about scenes, performances, camera movements and what happens between ACTION and CUT.

The other spent his time thinking about brands, audiences, consumer behaviour and why some stories make people stop scrolling.

One came from filmmaking. The other came from advertising and brand marketing.

Somewhere between a film set and a strategy meeting, they realised something. They were both chasing the same thing: a bloody good story.

Because it doesn't really matter whether you're making a feature film, a web series or a 90-second brand film. If the story doesn't connect, the camera doesn't matter. And neither does the budget.

And that's how Pink Shark World came together. Two perspectives, one shared obsession, and absolutely no shortage of opinions about films.

The people behind the pink

MEET THE SHARKS.

Not a boardroom origin story. More of a shared love for cinema that got a little out of hand.

Armaan Singh Dhillon

Direction / Film

Armaan comes from the world where stories are built one scene at a time. Feature films, web series, direction, performances, visual language and the beautiful chaos between a director's first idea and the final cut. He knows filmmaking is equal parts vision, instinct, collaboration and occasionally asking for one more take.

For him, a story isn't just something you tell. It's something you make people feel.

Brands / Advertising

H'Anand comes from the world of brands, advertising, marketing and commercial filmmaking. He understands that a great idea needs more than applause. It needs to connect with people, create meaning and sometimes convince somebody to buy something. He brings brand strategy and creative communication into the storytelling room.

For him, a brand is more than a logo. And an audience is more than a target group.

ONE THINKS IN SCENES.
ONE THINKS IN STRATEGY.
BOTH THINK IN STORIES.

The things we get up to

SO, WHAT EXACTLY DO WE DO?

A little bit of cinema. A little bit of advertising. A lot of storytelling. And a few things that don't fit neatly into a dropdown menu.

01 /

Branded micro-dramas

We turn brand objectives into entertaining, episodic stories. Characters, conflict, cliffhangers and that one episode you promise yourself will be the last.

↗
02 /

Advertising films

Advertising that understands the product, respects the audience and gives people something worth remembering. Make an ad, not an interruption.

↗
03 /

Films & web series

Some stories need more than a minute. We develop stories with characters worth following, worlds worth exploring and ideas worth investing in.

↗
04 /

Brand storytelling

We bring brand thinking and creative storytelling together to make ideas with a clear purpose, without losing their personality.

↗
05 /

Creative production

From the first slightly unhinged idea to the final cut, we help bring stories to life through filmmaking, production and collaboration.

↗
A format we're particularly excited about

THE NEXT BIG BRAND STORY MIGHT BE 60 EPISODES LONG.

People binge stories. They follow characters. They wait for the next episode. So why should branded content always feel like an advertisement?

We develop branded micro-dramas that bring brands into entertainment through episodic storytelling, relatable characters, conflict and compelling narrative hooks.

Less “Please buy our product.”
More “Wait, what happens next?”

Let's create a micro-drama ↗
A small matter of principle

WE LIKE STORIES. WE ALSO LIKE RESULTS.

01

Story first.

Because nobody remembers a communication strategy that forgot to be interesting.

02

Brands with a point of view.

Because putting a logo in the corner doesn't automatically make something branded entertainment.

03

Cinema without compromise.

The format may change. The commitment to storytelling shouldn't.
